Privacy Policy

Short version: we collect the minimum needed to run the product and to know which of our pages work. We do not sell data and we do not use your content to train models.
What this website collects
- Anonymous usage events — page views, scroll depth, and clicks on calls to action, along with the campaign tags in the link you arrived through. This tells us which posts bring people who actually read the page.
- A random session identifier, stored in your browser’s local storage. It is not tied to your identity and we set no advertising or tracking cookies.
- Country and device type, derived from the request. We do not store IP addresses.
- What you type into the feedback form — your email address and your answers to the two questions.
What we do with it
Usage events are used in aggregate to decide what to build. Your email is used to reply to you and, if you ask us to, to tell you about the product later. We do not send marketing on behalf of anyone else.
What the product collects
When you use KnowledgeClip itself, we store the video links you submit and the notes generated from them, so you can search them later. Your content is not used to train models.
Processors
The site and its data store are hosted on Cloudflare. Payments are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd, who acts as merchant of record: Paddle receives the billing details you enter directly, charges you, issues the invoice and handles tax — we never see your card number. We receive your email address, the plan you bought and the state of your subscription. Paddle's privacy notice is at paddle.com/legal/privacy.
Retention and your rights
Aggregate usage events are kept for up to 24 months. You can ask us to delete your email and any data attached to it at any time, and we will do it within 30 days. Write to hello@knowledgeclip.app.
